About Me
My name is Travis Myers. I'm an actor originally from Seattle, Washington.
I won't bore you with all the details of childhood. Let's save that for another time.
But, here’s a few things about myself. I worked as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. Spent my high school years on a horse ranch, rode lots of dirt bikes, broke bones, got cuts and stitches, excelled in sports, had a letter to play football at Central Washington University (chose not to pursue it) and welding was my day job for about 7 years. Most of my family is from the east coast, New York/ New England area. My mother was from Buffalo, NY and my father from Richland, WA.
Ok...acting. I began my acting career on stage with the truly magnificent Dr. Tawnya Pettiford-Wates (Dr. T) at The Little Theatre Off Broadway in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. I knew I had the acting bug as a kid, but it was there I can truly say it got it hooks in me. I dove in head first immersing myself in character and craft.
While working around town in theatre productions I began to receive opportunities to step into the film, tv and commercial world. As things progressed I decided to take the next step which led me to Los Angeles, where I’ve been for awhile now.
And, that's it in a quick little nutshell. Of course there's much more to tell, but really, I think you're here for the work...or at least I hope you are. So, if you're still reading this, look around, drop a comment and know that I appreciate you.
