About Travis Myers

Travis Myers is an actor, writer, and award-winning performer known for his dynamic presence across film and television. Most recently he has been seen in the Showtime series Dexter: Original Sin and Apple TV's Government Cheese.

Born and raised in Seattle, Washington. Travis' early life was shaped by rugged experiences - from working as a commercial fisherman in Alaska to architectural welding. These formative years not only grounded him but also infused his craft with an authentic grit that translates powerfully on screen. Travis began his artistic journey on the stage, honing his skills in classic theatre productions such as Romeo and Juliet and I’m Not Rappaport. His ability to embody complex characters and convey deep emotional resonance quickly set him apart.

Over the years, Travis has built a diverse body of work. Critics and festival juries alike have recognized his talent. He's earned multiple Best Actor awards for his riveting portrayal of Wyatt Star - a former motorcycle junkie fighting to reclaim his place and identity in Starman, along with the award-winning short film Dying Breed. His creative voice extends behind the camera as well, contributing as a writer on projects like Debt Men, which garnered accolades on the festival circuit. As his career continues to expand, he remains a compelling presence in both film and television, committed to exploring bold, human stories
